I may be biased, but I think Utah is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Gorgeous mountains. Beautiful valleys. And I love that dry air. So needless to say, I had a really hard time when it came to our big move. I was not excited about the prospect of leaving my family and beloved home.
As far as moving logistics were concerned, my husband and family managed almost all of that. I was in Texas the days before our departure, so I was little to no help. We did get some of it done before I left though. Picking up boxes and packing up my clothes were my major contributions.

And we couldn't leave without saying goodbye to some of our favorite buildings.

Hours later, we finally arrived in our new home. Phil's parents are on sabbatical so they were nice enough to let us house-sit while they're gone. More pictures of the house to come. But I'll never forget this place: Our first home.
