Phyllis Nadine Davis

As some of you may know, I recently lost my beautiful grandmother. Years ago, my grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer and she fought it like a champ! After surgeries and extensive treatment, we thought she had beat it. Little did we know that it would resurface years later.

Moments like these make you really reflect on what is most important in life: Relationships. My grandma was fantastic at communication (and by that I mean she was a Chatty Cathy). She loved people and loved making them feel loved. She was always laughing and never sweated the small stuff. She was stalwart and dedicated to her very last days. I hope some of that blood runs in me, that I can remember what life is truly all about. I love you Grandma, and I can't wait to be reunited someday!

The Big 2-6

After getting back from Peru, I was so excited to spend time celebrating my birthday with my family. We had a couple days of partying, and I must say, I love my people. Sledding, funfetti cake, family. Nothing beats it.
