Final Days in Utah

We tried to do a lot of fun Utah things before our big move. Camping was on the list, despite my normal attitude toward the great outdoors. We had a Davis family party up at Deer Creek to enjoy the last bit of summer.

I also got to spend a weekend camping with my lovely young women from church. These girls are a blast, and the amazing missionaries who run Heber Camp made it so special.

After all that camping, you'd think we'd be done with the outdoors right? Wrong! We couldn't move away from Provo without hiking the Y. Don't worry, I felt incredibly out of shape and hot the entire time. The view was worth it.

Last, but certainly not least, of our adventures was a trip to the Hogle Zoo with my adorable niece. We had a total blast and also realized how exhausting parenting is. Kudos to all my friends and family with young kids.

Vera made the drive home just as entertaining as the zoo. Love her.

We miss our long, summer days.
